Alongside my acupuncture practice in York, I also work at Phoenix Health and Wellbeing Clinic in the center of Leeds and we are looking to expand our acupuncture service. The clinic is unique in that it is a charitable social enterprise that offers subsidised treatments for NHS-referred patients. As you may imagine, the clinic is always very busy, so to keep up with the demand we are looking for one or more acupuncturists to join the acupuncture team. Currently, the clinic opens on Fridays from 10 am until 4 pm. There is flexibility in sharing Friday's so you would not have to attend each week, and there is potential for providing acupuncture on a different day of the week if you are interested, but Fridays don't work for you.

The day begins at 10am with a group auricular session for prostate cancer patients.
Between 11am and 3pm there are 9 available slots for full body acupuncture in the multibed setting.
The service is a two-bed multi-bed with screens used to separate patients - private rooms are available for consultation.
Phoenix provides the room, needles, other clinical equipment, and needle disposal.
Reception deals with initial bookings and rebookings of patients

Phoenix is a wonderful environment to work in, providing acupuncture, massage and counselling. The acupuncture clinic is currently booked up for the next 5 weeks so we are hoping to find some extra acupuncturists as soon as we can. We are looking for degree-level or equivalent acupuncturists, who are able to provide NADA treatment as well as body acupuncture. This opportunity will work well for anyone who is wanting to add something different to their work life - dealing with a variety of issues in a quick-paced environment, with no overheads and minimum patient organisation.
